1. What Netware environments will WhoHasIt! work on?
2. I am getting an error which says my demo has expired, what do I do?
You should try out our software for 30 days. If you feel you can use it in your environment we encourage you
to purchase a copy. You can also download the
latest copy. We will be expanding our
demos to include easier ways to register as well. ![]()
3. Can WhoHasIt! run on Windows NT?
It will run on Windows NT 3.51/4.1 and Windows 2000
Professional. However, the open files status is limited to Netware File Servers. Therefore,
you will need to run the Novell IntraNetware Client for NT to map appropriate drives. ![]()
4.
Why do I keep getting a GPF when WhoHasIt! runs?
Our program is designed to work within Netware environments. To that end, the program has been designed on certain hardware and software our enginerring staff uses. Proven work environments include Novells NWCALLS.DLL, Novell's 16 and 32 bit netware drivers for DOS and Windows, and the Novell Intranetware NT drivers.
If you run these drivers you should be ok. Running Microsoft or other Netware driver environments may have undesireable
results. Please report any problems to statsware@ackind.net. ![]()
5.

Windows95/98/ME, WindowsNT 3.51/4.1, WindowsNT 2000

8.
I have a registration number like A11111W or I registered on Compuserve and would like an upgrade, what do I do?
These registration numbers are NOT from us. There is another software package calling itself whohasit. They
also register themselves through Compuserve, we do not. We will gladly sell you our product as we feel it is superior.
Please download the demo and try it for yourself. If you can provide a receipt/proof of purchase and serial number
of your old whohasit product we will give you a competitive upgrade ($25 discount). ![]()
9.

10.
What exactly are the licensing terms of WhoHasIt! ?
You can purchase a single user copy [this covers one user at one physical building only]. You can purchase a multi-user single copy license [this covers multiple people using WhoHasIt! at one physical building only]. You can purchase a site license [this will cover multiple users at a complete site].
A physical building is defined as one building within a site. The number of servers do not matter, as long as they are located in one physical building.
A site is defined as multiple buildings in one geographical region.
Crossing WAN or dialup connections constitutes purchasing more copies.
Buy a site license if you have multiple servers in multiple buildings. Call for licensing if you wish to use
our product at multiple sites throughout the country or the world. ![]()
11.
What is the role of the USA Distribution company, and who provides support?
We basically just sell the product. WhoHasIt! is actually written by a firm called Statsware in Australia. We
will provide a basic level of customer support to make sure you are happy with the product and will take orders.
Please send us any email regarding the product and we will make sure your questions are answered. ![]()
12. Is WhoHasIt Year 2000 Compliant?
YES. WhoHasIt does not use dates as a part of its programming. Our software simply re-displays the dates given from Netware. If you are using a Year2000 complient version of Netware and desktop operating system you will have no problems. Therefore WhoHasIt IS Year 2000 complient.
Please follow the following links for Novell's Year 2000, and
Microsoft's Year 2000 programs. Thank
You. ![]()
